Intrusion Truth - Five Years of Naming and Shaming China’s Spies

In 2017, a mysterious group called Intrusion Truth began exposing the real identities of hackers behind Chinese spy operations. In an interview, the group discusses their controversial work.
It seems pretty obvious from this article that 'Intrusion Truth' is a US government entity and that the stuff they do couldn't be well done without NSA/CIA cooperation. That's great, up the game NSA/CIA! I'm certainly rooting for you all, but 'outing' CCP operatives seems like rather low returns, no? China is pretty arrogant and doesn't really care, all it cares about is 'plausible deniability'. And the actual identities of the Chinese operatives will only matter if they decide to take a trip to DisneyLand, and perhaps not even then, no?
Great interview. Couldn't help but notice they completely sidestepped your question regarding doxxing those who haven't been charged, and gave a rather coy answer to your question regarding parallel construction. The group seems like a very useful tool to achieve the desired results of US cyber command without compromising anything internally.
